Overheid moet neutraal zijn.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>De Mouvement R\u00e9formateur is voor het verbod op het zichtbaar dragen van uiterlijke tekenen van een geloofs-, politieke of filosofische overtuiging bij openbare besturen. Dat geldt ook voor leerlingen en leraren in het verplichte Franstalige onderwijs.<\/p>\n<p>Openbare besturen moeten neutraal zijn in hun publieke dienstverlening en in hun contacten met burgers.<\/p>\n<p>Er mag ook geen onderscheid worden gemaakt tussen functies binnen openbare diensten. Bijvoorbeeld tussen ambtenaren die rechtstreeks met burgers in contact komen, ambtenaren die dat niet doen of leidinggevende ambtenaren. Een gelijke behandeling moet de regel zijn. Het tegenovergestelde zou discriminatie tussen ambtenaren opwekken.<\/p>\n<p>De neutraliteit van de overheid en de scheiding tussen geloof en staat zijn kernprincipes van een samenleving voor iedereen.
